David Lee Jeremiason, 79, passed away on December 1, 2025, surrounded by the people who loved him most. He was born on March 13, 1946, to Ole and Alice (Helmeid) Jeremiason and grew up on the family farm near Blanchardville—a place that he later raised his own family with his devoted wife, Linda.
David attended the Loyalty School in rural Blanchardville, continued at Blanchardville High School for two years, and completed his high school coursework through The American School of Chicago, IL.
David made the best decision of his life when he asked Linda to spend the rest of their lives together. They married on October 20, 1973 and spent their lives side by side throughout the years.
David lived a life full of simple adventures. He made many trips to Colorado with his classmates, cousins, and family, and his later love of camping took them all over Wisconsin and the Midwest, extending to Arizona, Utah, and plenty of places in between. David loved telling stories and would strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He also had a real fondness for International tractors and Ford trucks.
Together, David and Linda farmed independently for many years and continued farming while he worked for Strommen Livestock until his retirement. He cherished the friendships he made throughout his life, especially those formed at his favorite local establishments.
David is survived by his wife, Linda; his children Brian (Beth) Jeremiason of Oregon, Jason (Courtney) Jeremiason of Monroe, Tami Jeremiason of Oregon, Lisa (Chad) Collins of Waterloo, IA, and Emily Schmitzer of Evansville; his sister Judelle (Ray) Murphy of Beloit, his beloved grandchildren: Login, Justin, Megin, Adam, Andrew, Olivia, Kinlee, Zach, Maya, Clovie, Tate, Ivorie, and Roy; and his faithful furry friend, Teddy; many nieces and nephews, in-laws and great friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Martin, sister Diane, nephews Kurt and Seth.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
