Donna Jo Burkoth, age 49 of Blanchardville, formerly of Argyle, Monroe and Kenosha died on Saturday evening, December 13, 2014 at her home with her family at her side. She was born on May 4, 1965 in Rosières-en-Haye, France to her parents Kenneth Eugene Jr. and Evelyn Annette (Gardner) Miller. Her father was in the U.S. Army, and he served in France where they lived until they came back to the US and lived in Tupelo, Mississippi when she was a child. Eventually they moved to Kenosha where she went to high school and graduated there. She worked at Perkins and Shoney's in Kenosha, and then worked with her dad traveling to sell goods at flea markets. In 1991 she met Gary Burkoth, and they were married in 1995. Donna loved the Bears, Bulls, and all Chicago sports. She also loved Nascar, reading and craftwork.
Donna is survived by her husband, Gary Thomas Burkoth, and two sons, Noah Burkoth and Michael Korecz, all of Blanchardville; two grandsons, Christian Ellis and Abraham Bredeson-Korecz; one sister, Wendy Lee (Ed) Rose of Kenosha; and three brothers, Scott Miller of Kenosha, Ken Jr. Miller of Kenosha, and John (Casey) Miller of Peru, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
