Jeremy Alan Kainz

September 9, 1985 — May 17, 2013

Jeremy Alan Kainz, age 27 of New Glarus, formerly of Blanchardville, died on Friday, May 17, 2013 as the result of an auto accident. He was born on September 9, 1985 in Monroe to Joy King and Larry Kainz. His early years were in Monroe and then at the age of 5 he started living in Monroe and Blanchardville. He attended the Pecatonica area schools in Hollandale and Blanchardville. He worked for Badgerland Fencing for many years. He recently was working for the Wisconsin Cheese Group in Monroe. Jeremy loved working on cars, fishing and he loved spending time with his children, family and his friends.

Jeremy is survived by his daughter, Lilly Peterson and his son, Leo Kainz; his significant other, Kala Booth of New Glarus; his mother, Joy King of Monroe; his father, Larry (Melody) Kainz of Dodgeville; a sister, Dallas Ann King; brothers Rex Burns and Manny Jackson; step-sisters Courtney (Steven) Hutson, Cassidy Hutchison and Cammy Hutchison; his paternal grandmother, Joanne Kainz of Blanchardville; his maternal grandfather Lester King of Monroe; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leo Kainz, his maternal grandmother, Delories King, and two cousins, Craig Hughes and Jerome Johnson.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, May 21, 2013 from 4:00 until 9:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blanchardville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the church. Fr. Thomas Gillespie of that church will officiate. Burial will follow in the East Side Cemetery in Dodgeville. A funeral lunch will then be held at the American Legion Post in Blanchardville.
