Letha Ann (Bowman) Triem

Letha Ann Triem, age 81 of Hollandale died on Friday morning, March 8, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.  She was born on July 2, 1937 in Dyer, Indiana to Claude A. & Elsie Bowman.  She grew up in Dyer where she went to Grade and High School.  She was married on September 7, 1953 in Tuscola, Mississippi to Neil Triem.  They lived in Crete, Illinois, had a farm in Ogema, Wisconsin until 1973, and then farmed in Luka, Illinois.  She later lived in the southwestern Wisconsin area, and settled in the apartment building in Hollandale in around 2004.  She was a home maker, raising her children and she worked with her family on the dairy farm.  She was proud to have earned her GED in 1989. She later waitressed, worked with her daughter in her grocery store, and then worked in housekeeping at Ingleside Nursing Home in Mount Horeb.  She was known as a great cook, especially making chicken.  She loved fishing, and loved Wisconsin.  She also loved the Packers and rivalries with her Bears loving family members, Jinny Lou and Archie.

Letha is survived by her two children, Denver (Sue Anderson) Triem of Hollandale, and Janet (Kenny) Eagan of Iuka IL; 8 grandchildren, Chad (Jamie) Eagan, Brent (Jamie) Eagan, Tiffany (Matt) Helm, Shawn (Jayne) Triem, Amber (Tim Seffrood) Runden, John, Brandon & Heidi Fahrney Triem; 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her ex-husband.

A visitation for Letha Triem will be held on Tuesday morning, March 12, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM at Blanchard Hall at 204 South Main Street in Blanchardville.  A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at Blanchard Hall.  The Saether Funeral Home in Blanchardville is assisting the family.
