Marvin Johnson, age 65, formerly of Blanchardville passed away Sunday, September 17, at Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewaunee, Illinois. He was born January 18, 1958 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Harold and Bonnie (Gilbertson) Johnson. He was raised on the family farm with five brothers and four sisters. He attended Blanchardville/Pecatonica Schools and graduated in 1976. He worked for Zim’s Cheese, Argyle Industries, and Cabella’s.
He is survived by sisters Colleen Pederson of Monroe, Marilyn (Stan) Knudtson of Mt. Horeb and Barbara (Bob) Kittleson of Mt. Horeb; brothers David (Deb) Johnson of Blanchardville, Jeff (Gay) Johnson of Mt. Horeb, and Gerald Johnson of Mineral Point and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Bonnie, brothers Robert and Harold, Jr, and sister Helen Pederson.
Marvin loved his Mustangs and fast motorcycles. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Rest in peace Marv.
Marvin will be buried next to his parents at Graceland Cemetery in Blanchardville. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023.
