Carmen Danz
Funeral Director
Carmen is originally from Appleton, WI. She was introduced to the Saether Family in 2020 when she met Jeff at Moon Beach UCC Camp as fellow staff members. She graduated from Hamline University with a BA in Music and Religion in 2021. After college, she was originally going to become a pastor, but Jeff and his family introduced her to funeral service and she realized it was a ministry in itself. She received her Funeral Director's Apprentice license in 2022 and worked at a local funeral home in Appleton, WI. She attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science with Jeff and the two graduated together in 2024. Jeff and Carmen are engaged to be married in the fall of 2026.
Carmen moved to Blanchardville, WI in 2024 and realized her love for small towns, especially this one. She stays connected in the community by volunteering at the Blanchardville Public Library and participating in the New Hope Lutheran Church Choir among other things.
In her free time, Carmen enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends, camping, hiking - especially any trails that get her closer to accomplishing her goal of completing the Ice Age Trail, reading, trying new crafts or hobbies, and visiting a local coffee shop.
Carmen is blessed to be a part of such a dedicated and lasting family tradition and considers herself grateful for the opportunity to lend a hand to those while they navigate through difficult times of grief.
